Pediatrics Healthcare 2016

Track-1: Pediatrics Healthcare

Pediatrics health is a state of physical, mental, intellectual, social and emotional well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Healthy children live in families, environments, and communities that provide them with the opportunity to reach their fullest developmental potential. Child health is the purview of Pediatrics, which became a medical specialty in the mid-nineteenth century. Before that time the care and treatment of childhood diseases were included within such areas as general medicine, obstetrics, and midwifery.

Track-4: Stages of Child Development

As children develop from infants to teens to adults they go through a series of developmental stages that are important to all aspects of their personhood including physical, intellectual, emotional and social.  The proper role of the parent is to provide encouragement, support and access to activities that enable the child to master key developmental tasks. A parent is their child’s first teacher and should remain their best teacher throughout life.  Functioning as a coach, the parent exposes a child to age appropriate challenges to encourage development as well as to experiences that allows the child to explore on their own and learn from interacting with their environment.

Pediatric Allergy promotes understanding and advances the treatment of respiratory, allergic, and immunologic diseases in children. It emphasizes on the epidemiologic research on the most common chronic illnesses of children—asthma and allergies—as well as many less common and rare diseases. Swollen or enlarged adenoids and Tonsils are common in children. Pediatric Pneumonia is often caused by viruses, such as the influenza virus (flu) and adenovirus. Other viruses, such as respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and human metapneumovirus, are common causes of pneumonia in young kids and babies. Some of the Allergic reactions in children include, red eyes, atopic dermatitis (eczema), itchiness, runny nose, urticaria (hives), an asthma attack and sinusitis.

Track-16: Pediatric Neurology

Pediatric neurology is a medical discipline that aims to confront and, as effectively as possible, treat the unique neurological problems associated with young people, specifically those less than 18 years of age. A wide variety of neurological disorders, such as epilepsy and neurological diseases, can be present in unique forms in children. The most common neurological disease is pediatric epilepsy. Approximately 70% of children who suffer epilepsy during their childhood eventually outgrow it. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is a diagnostic tool used for inherited metabolic disorders. To date, MRS has been limited to the assessment for cerebral lactic acidosis in mitochondrial disorders in children. Neuromuscular and genetic metabolic diseases are the most common genetic related disorders in children. The new frontier to improve outcomes in critically ill pediatric patients with neurological illness is Pediatric Neuro critical Care.

Track-17: Pediatric Speech & Hearing disorders

Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder. Children with CAS have problems saying sounds, syllables, and words. This is not because of muscle weakness or paralysis. The brain has problems planning to move the body parts (e.g., lips, jaw, tongue) needed for speech. The child knows what he or she wants to say, but his/her brain has difficulty coordinating the muscle movements necessary to say those words. Childhood hearing loss can be congenital, delayed-onset, progressive, or acquired in nature. Congenital hearing loss refers to hearing loss that is present at birth and is often identified through a new born hearing screening conducted shortly after birth. While estimates vary, some hearing loss in childhood is delayed-onset or progressive in nature. As a result, it is important to provide audio logic monitoring over time for children who are considered to be "at risk" for hearing loss.

Track 18: Pediatric Pulmonology

Pediatric pulmonology is a medical specialty that deals with diagnosis and treatment of diseases involving respiratory tract. Pediatric pulmonology is a combination of both pulmonology and pediatrics. Pediatric pulmonologists are specially trained in pulmonary pediatric diseases and conditions of the chest, particularly pneumonia, asthma, tuberculosis, complicated chest infections, etc. Epiglottitis is a cause of pediatric dyspnea that should be considered by the EMT when evaluating children in respiratory distress. Hence it is important to study the diagnosis, immunization and preventive measure of these diseases.

 Track-19: Diagnostic Technique

Diagnostic techniques and procedures encompass all investigations and tests intended to identify the cause of an illness or disorder. They include, for example, laboratory tests for infectious agents, and imaging techniques, such as pediatric radiology and ultrasound examination. Pediatricians or specialist for children diseases are view each organ system within child’s body as a special and unique system. While the U.S. economy is considered post-industrial, the country continues to be one of the world's largest manufacturers as well as leader in scientific research and technological innovations. USA having 15-20 associations related to heart diseases and related researchers are working hard to combat childhood obesity throughout the state, which can be leads to Heart diseases.

The "Children's Heart Center of Nevada Pediatric Research Fund," in the amount of $100,000 over 10 years, will be used to stimulate new research activities among faculty, according to David Gremse, M.D., chair of the School's pediatrics department in Las Vegas. Children's Heart Center serves Nevada with five offices in Southern and Northern Nevada as well as various outreaches clinics. No child in need of services is turned away for any reason. Nevada has 194 active physicians per 100,000 people. The average U.S. rate is more than 260 doctors per 100,000. The Nevada State Medical Association estimates a need for almost double the number of primary care physicians, not including specialists or subspecialists, in the next 15 years. According to the Dartmouth Institute of Health Policy and Clinical Practice, a coalition to study health care, there are 9.6 pediatricians per 100,000 people in Reno and 8.8 primary care pediatricians per 100,000 in Las Vegas. With the national average of 15 pediatricians per 100,000 people — 32 per 100,000 in San Francisco — estimates show that Nevada could easily accommodate twice as many pediatricians.

Products Manufactured by the industry related Pediatrics Health Research and its Market Value:

For children with in-hospital pVT/VF, lidocaine use was independently associated with improved ROSC and 24-h survival. Amiodarone use was not associated with superior rates of ROSC, survival at 24 h. Neither drug was associated with survival to hospital discharge. These are some more popularly used drug for cardiac diseases. The Netherlands, May 29, 2015 - The Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium, a Consortium dedicated to the development of a new pediatric formulation against schistosomiasis received almost USD4.9 million from the Japanese Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund.

Fund Allotment (in Million Dollars) to Pediatrics Health Research:

The Balanced Budget Act (BBA) of 1997 (P.L. 105 33) created the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) under Title XXI of the Social Security Act.
